Catching up on Life

Spring semester 2010 has been a crazy one! I had to write 12 lesson plans and they were all due within a 2 ½ week period—talk about hectic!!! After this semester I have two more semesters of classes and then I will be in the block and student teaching! Can Spring 2012 get here ANY sooner. I am scared to be teaching on my own, but I’m also ready to be done learning for awhile. I know that I will always be learning, but a little break would be nice!

I really need a car so that I can get around and go places that are more than a couple miles away and without planning an extra hour or more to transportation to a place that would take 5-10 minutes to drive. I also hate not being able to just leave and head to SLC whenever and depending on Greyhound or the shuttle to get me there. I know that it probably is about the same price to drive myself as it is to take the shuttle, but paying $100 all up front makes it seem like a lot more. I will work on getting that car, and IT WILL BE FREE!!!

Over Spring Break I am moving! I don’t know quite where yet. I have two places that I want to look at—one that is next door to the place I live now and the other is a little bit closer to work and school, but it is a little smaller than the other one. We shall see. I’m a little nervous to move and to have roommates again; it has been almost three years since I’ve lived with other people. I just keep telling myself it will be good for me and my life experiences and will also be good for my pocket book and hopefully help me pay down my credit cards.

Mary Kay is going great. I am starting to get a little more comfortable doing it, and my goal is to have my beautiful charcoal Chevy Malibu by August 31, 2010!! I can’t wait! I just need to start putting product on faces and sharing this wonderful opportunity!!
