Day 01 -- My Favorite Song

This is a really hard one for me because I LOVE music and my favorite song is always changing based on my mood. I think for this post though I will use a song that I first heard in high school and loved the meaning and how true the song is.

So my favorite song is One Voice by Billy Gilman

This kid is amazing. When this song came out Billy was only 11 years--UNBELIEVABLE!!! This song always makes me cry--mainly because the song is so true--even more so now than back in 2000. There used to be a time when there was more good news than bad on the evening news and families left their doors unlocked at night. That is a part of our past, but I still think we need to find a way to get back to that time to some extent and help make this world a better place again. As the boy in song did....toss that pistol into the river below.
